Amy Webb was on for Elphaba at last nights show in Manchester. Grace Chapman was also on for Nessa.

Could very likely be Amy's final show as Elphaba, what with the tour ending imminently.

Amy Ross confirmed on Twitter that she has the Saturday matinee scheduled off, so (unless ill) Nikki will have her last for the matinee on January 5th, very jealous of that audience, they are in for one hell of a show!

Well the tour closed on Saturday night and for closing weekend it was only Nikki who went on. The swings made an appearance in the evening in costume for the final bows (except Paul Saunders who came onto stage without costume and stood to the side with Nikki).

It was a perfect weekend - Amy was on fire in the last show as were the whole ensemble. It was a great night of theatre and sad that it would appear the end of a UK tour for the foreseeable future.

Michael McCabe did a lovely speech to thank everyone and said the UK tours started with the first tour, moved to Asia then back to the UK for this one.
