The Broadway production had its first preview on October 3, 2003 and opened on October 30, 2003.

The First National Tour had its first preview on March 9, 2005 and opened on March 31, 2005 in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.

The Second National Tour had its first preview on March 7, 2009 and opened on March 12, 2009 in Fort Myers, Florida.

The West End production had its first preview on September 7, 2006 and opened on September 27, 2006.

The United Kingdom/Ireland tour will begin on September 12, 2013 in Manchester, England.

The Auckland, New Zealand production will begin on September 21, 2013.
